1960s Vintage Richly Embroidered Tibetan Peaked Cap
with Six Deities Around the Crown
We haven’t come across another of these.
This came from a private collection
that had been languishing in storage since the 1960s
Hippy Trail opened up across Asia.
Not sure where this originated, but we think it was Tibet.
The detail and rich embroidery is fabulous.
In pretty good shape for its age.
The cap measures 20” around the circumference,
6” high
and the peak measures 7” by 3 1/2”.
The stiffening inside the peak has cracked,
but this could be easily removed or replaced if desired.
