Exemplifying a boyhood of long ago, the ubiquitous boy toy, a tin drum.
Such a glorious piece of childhood history, with its gorgeous ribbon, brass handled sticks and lovely worn patina.
Its created such a fantastic look on my child mannequin, combined with vintage clothes. Its extraordinary how pieces from different sources can work together , it was a delight assembling the pieces for these photographs.
This listing is for the drum, the clothes are in other listings.
Condition, is good used vintage, the wood clean and treated.
Although I'll miss it, Mr French Country Living, (not a man gifted in percussion), has taked to playing a rather unsyncopated solos, at the drop of a hat, so it really needs a new home!!
