Set of 3 Woollen Balls

Set of three woollen balls in various sizes.

Diameter of the large ball: c. 7 cm.
Diameter of the medium ball: c. 6 cm.
Diameter of the small ball: c. 5 cm.

The balls are hand knitted in Sussex using the following materials:

100% Wool yarn
100% Sheep wool (filling)

These balls can be enjoyed by babies, toddlers and young children alike; the can be rolled along the ground, thrown and caught, the set can help the child nourish their growing sense of number and order, they can also be transformed into an endless array of imaginary objects in the child’s creative play.

The natural materials of these woollen balls greatly extend the child’s range of experience, enhance the child’s sensitivity and encourage creative play.
The ribs around the ball are tactile, encouraging the development of sensitivity in the fingertips. Being filled with clean, carded sheep wool means that these balls naturally have a nice weight and a pleasant springy feeling when handled. The three colours complement each other and are somewhat muted, meaning there is a sense of gentle coherence across the set that soothes the sense of sight.
