Handmade wooden Kazoo, with Custom Saying, with 2 lines up to 19 letters per line. The body wood is Redwood, the top is Cedar.
The screws are made out of brass. Size approx. 5 1/16 inch long x 1 5/8 inch tall x 1 1/4 wide

Each kazoo is truly unique! Handmade with pride in Idaho, USA. using over 40 years of woodworking experience. All of our Kazoos are painstakingly handmade with the finest selected wood. All of the Kazoos are very unique each one made with a labor of love. Each piece of wood can be different in its natural beauty, featuring variations in color and character.

We start out by picking the best cut of wood, rough cutting it to the basic shape drilling the proper sized holes, then filing and sanding to the final shape. We start with 240 grit sandpaper moving all the way to 2000 grit for the final smooth finish. The resonator cap is then hand fitted to the body. The Kazoo is sprayed with a minimum of 2 coats of premium Lacquer sanding sealer primer, sanding in-between each coat. Then on to the final 2 coats of Lacquer Clear finish. The Kazoo’s are finished with finish coats of either Satin, Semi-gloss or full gloss lacquer.

After the finish is cured it is then hand buffed with a time proven family secret method of buffing and ready to be assembled. Due to the nature of wood and each being handmade makes every Kazoo an individual, no two are truly alike. The resonator is made from common wax paper for ease of replacement if an accident should happen with your resonator. At some point your resonator will need to be replaced, we designed it to have an easy replaceable resonator so you can quickly get back to playing music.

Due to the nature of wood and each being handmade makes every Kazoo an individual, no two are truly alike. The woods that we typically select to make our Kazoos out of are, Sapele Mahogany, Maple, Alder, Walnut, Cedar and or Redwood. We typically use brass or stainless steel screws to attach the resonator cap to the Kazoo. The Kazoo’s are finished with finish coats of either Satin, Semi-gloss or full gloss lacquer.
