Vtg Tin FLEISCHMANN GERMAN Ocean Liner Hand Painted Ship 1930's, Fleischmann Br Gebruder GFN Nuremberg Germany Metal Windup Ship Boat 46x9cm

We offer for sale an ANTIQUE EXTREMELY RARE GERMAN 'FLEISCHMANN' TIN HAND PAINTED WIND-UP OCEAN LINER produced in NUREMBERG GERMANY by the famous toy makers FLEISCHMANN BROTHERS (GEBRUDER FLEISCHMANN NURNBERG) circa 1930's.

THIS IS A UNIQUE PIECE OF ART & CRAFTSMANSHIP reminiscent of past times.

As you can see in the photos this UNIQUE GERMAN 1930's SHIP LINER comes in used condition with marks of tin wear and defects around its hull. Marked with the sign of Fleischmann authenticity "GFN" at the fore of the deck (check photos). With respect to the ship's state we certainly have to take into consideration its age. The key of the wind-up mechanism is missing. So the ship has not been tested. Please check all the photos on display to see the details of the description and any missing parts. THE NAME OF TRUSTFULNESS & DISTINCTION

Fleischmann is a German toy manufacturer with rich history. The toy factory started its operation in 1887 in Nuremberg Germany by the superb craftsman and toy maker Jean Fleischmann. In 1898 under the name Fleicschmann Brothers, also known as Gebruder Fleischmann Nurnberg (hence the 'GFN' marking on their early products) the company started producing commercially a wider range of exquisite tin toys such as trains (which were their initial creations), boats, ships, airplanes, swimming and walking animals, water fountains and more. Their breakthrough was the clockwork and live steam mechanism tin boats and automotive vehicles. Before WWII (1939) Fleischmann took over Doll et Cie and excelled in train making, of which they still remain pioneers.
